  • Paige Cara

    The founder of Prospect Park Yoga, Paige is known for her articulate and compassionate teaching, helping people appreciate the joys of an embodied life. She began teaching in 2011 and has since led thousands of classes and numerous yoga retreats, teacher trainings and mentorship programs. She is the owner of Private Yoga Brooklyn, teaching customized 1-1 and small groups sessions. She loves public space, being outdoors and moving and couldn’t help combining these passions in PPY.

    Olivia Snyder-Sparkles

    Based in New York City, Olivia believes yoga should be accessible to absolutely everyone. Teaching all-levels, athletic yoga classes that are both welcoming of first-time yogis and challenging for veterans, she incorporates mindfulness and creativity into each session through meditative visualizations that help even the most type-A New Yorkers find a moment of zen.

  • Erin Mulvaney

    Erin likes to build heat with fun, creative flows that focus on alignment and moving with the breath. She completed her 200-hour yoga instructor certification at Brooklyn Flow and teaches weekly classes in the neighborhood. She’s been practicing yoga regularly for more than a decade, and, as a teacher, Erin loves to help students--from brand new to advanced--learn more about their bodies and find their flow! Originally from Texas, she currently lives in the borderlands of Gowanus and South Slope.

    My classes are active yet calming and incorporate tenants of yogic philosophy. I aim to build students' awareness of the ways their mind, body and breathe work together in this practice.

    Maury is a dedicated yoga teacher with 20 years of experience, providing personalized, high-quality classes for all ages. She combines spontaneity, humor, and safe instruction to promote healing through Yoga Therapy, supporting individuals on their wellness journeys.

    My style is fun and dynamic. Students can expect joyful themes and flows that connect breath, mobility and strength building.

    Kayla (she/her) teaches dynamic slow flow classes that are designed to adapt to individual needs and abilities. As a teacher, her goal is to help people connect with their breath and find balance.

    Matthew Schoer

    Matthew is a Brooklyn native with over a decade of yoga experience who began teaching in 2024. With a passion for music and nature, Matthew builds classes and themes that can help students connect to something beyond just their physical practice. As a teacher, he finds joy in helping students move their bodies and connect to their breath with intention and love.

    Kathleen Bostleman

    Kathleen's yoga classes incorporate tools from her extensive movement and dance background to help students gain mobility, strength, and confidence. Her teaching focuses on sustainable practice and body awareness. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist; her yoga classes often include elements of guided self-massage that inform the practice. She hopes to create spaces for those seeking refuge in self-study through movement and breath. She believes that observing sensation is the first step in listening to ourselves.

    Carlie’s classes find their center within playful groundness and loving devotion. She incorporates her immersive studies in India along with a decade of personal practice to guide students of all experience levels towards reconnecting with their inner wisdom and channeling it into their everyday lives. By teaching mindful movement and intentional breath, Carlie aspires to offer a space where students can feel at peace with the present moment.

    Sarah creates space to slow down, connect with your body, and move in a way that feels good to you. With over a decade of experience in the wellness industry, Sarah has taught at studios, festivals, and retreats around the world, bringing a joyful, grounded, and accessible approach to all of her classes. Sarah is the founder of joyflow®, a mindful movement method to feel free in your body, and holds an M.A. in Women, Gender, Spirituality & Social Justice.
