Directions to Our Classrooms
Classes are offered nearby 4 major entrances to serve multiple neighborhoods. We aim to host classes within a few minutes’ walk of park entrances. Because we hold classes in public space and want to be good neighbors, we occasionally need to adjust to other activities happening in the park.
Grand Army Plaza
Directions:
1) Upon entering the park via Grand Army Plaza, walk toward the Long Meadow.
2) Enter the Long Meadow via the Meadowport Arch or Endale Arch*.
3) We are located in center of the Long Meadow, between the 2 arches, hopefully under some large trees.
15th Street
Directions:
Upon entering the park via Bartel-Prichard traffic circle:
1) Cross the ring road in the park.
2) Just to the left of the Bridle Trail you should see our location under very tall London Plane trees.
3) If you get to the baseball fields you have gone too far.
Lincoln Road
Directions:
Upon entering the park via Lincoln Road:
1) Cross the ring road in the park
2) Walk toward the Concert Grove Pavilion. Pass the Pavilion.
3) Continue down stairs toward the lake. You will see a number of statues and lawns. Go to the lowest lawn.
4) We will be located to your right, under very large trees, at the lawn just in front of the lake.
Ocean Parkway
Directions:
Upon entering the park via Ocean Parkway entrance (also known as Machate Circle):
1) Cross the ring road in the park so that you are lakeside
2) Once you are facing the lake, walk to the right along the paths. There are a number of official and "unofficial" paths around the lake, some dirt, others gravel, others paved. All are good!
3) Walk about 3-5 minutes. To your left you will see a number of small pine trees and a clearing that opens up to the lake. We will hold class here.
4) If you get to the Peristyle (that is the Greco-Roman columned structure) you have gone much too far!
